Hipp HA (Hypoallergenic) PRE from Birth to 6 Months (600g) (German Box and Formulation)

HiPP HA PRE Hypoallergenic Formula is designed for infants from birth to six months who exhibit high sensitivity to cow's milk proteins, leading to issues such as skin problems, digestion problems, or hay fever-like symptoms. Here are the key features and considerations for this formula:

Key Features:

  1. Hypoallergenic Composition: This formula is nutritionally complete and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for infants with a high sensitivity to cow's milk proteins.

  2. Usage from Birth to Six Months: HiPP HA PRE is formulated for use from birth to six months, offering a suitable option for infants with allergies or sensitivities during the early months of life.

  3. Starch-Free: The primary distinction between HiPP HA PRE and Stage 1 is the absence of starch in HA PRE. This results in a thinner consistency, making it easier for young babies to digest.

  4. Hydrolyzed Proteins: The formula undergoes a hydrolysis process where long-chain milk proteins are broken down into smaller fragments. This process removes casein from cow's milk, reducing the risk of allergic reactions. Smaller whey proteins are easier to digest.

  5. Thin Consistency: Because no starch is added, HiPP HA PRE has a thin consistency, resembling breast milk in this aspect.

  6. Lactose Content: Since HiPP HA PRE is made from cow's milk, it retains the same lactose content as breast milk.

  7. Probiotics and Prebiotics: The formula is enriched with a combination of probiotics and prebiotics, promoting natural gut health in infants.

Important Notes:

  1. Specialized Supplement: HiPP Hypoallergenic Stage PRE is a specialized supplement and not a prescription medication. It is advisable to consult with a pediatrician before deciding to use it.

  2. Individual Responses Vary: While this product may benefit infants sensitive to cow's milk proteins, individual responses vary, and not all infants with milk protein allergies may necessarily benefit from it.

  3. Not Certified Organic: Due to the lack of organic hydrolyzed milk protein, HiPP Hypoallergenic formulas cannot be certified as organic.

  4. Consult Pediatrician: It is recommended to speak with a pediatrician before making decisions regarding bottle-feeding, especially in cases of allergies or sensitivities.

Always follow the recommended usage instructions provided by the manufacturer and seek professional advice for personalized recommendations based on your baby's needs.

Hipp HA formula may benefit babies with cow's milk protein sensitivity, however it may not be appropriate for all babies with a milk protein allergy.
