💡 How to Prepare HiPP Organic First Infant Milk

Please follow these steps carefully. Not following them could make your baby unwell, as powdered formula is not sterile.

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all bottles, teats, and feeding equipment as directed by the manufacturer.
2. Boil 1 litre of fresh water. Let the water cool for no more than 30 minutes.
   (Tip: Don’t use water that’s been softened or re-boiled.)
3. Pour the right amount of cooled water into a clean, sterilised bottle (check the Feeding Guide for measurements).
4. Add the formula powder — use only the scoop provided.
   One level scoop = 30ml (1 fluid ounce) of water.
   Level the scoop with the built-in leveller — don’t press or pack the powder.
5. Seal the bottle with the teat and cap. Shake well for about 15 seconds until all the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Cool the bottle under cold running water until it’s around body temperature (about 37°C).
7. Test the temperature on your wrist before feeding, and feed your baby right away.

• Keep the tin in a cool, dry place.
• Do not store it in the fridge.
• Once opened, use the formula within 3 weeks.
• Packed in a protective atmosphere to stay fresh.

Step 1:
Sterilize bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water for 3 minutes before each use.

Step 2:
Boil the water and leave it to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Pour about half of the water into the bottle.

Step 3:
Fill the measuring spoon and level with a knife for accurate measurement. Add the quantity of milk powder indicated in the feeding chart below into the bottle.

Step 4:
Shake thoroughly. Add the rest of the water and shake again. Cool down to drinking temperature by placing the bottle under cold running water. Always check the milk temperature before feeding.

• Only use the scoop provided in the pack
• Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to milk feeds
• For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made up feeds within 2 hours of preparation. Discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
• Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding
• Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with milk feeds which may increase the risk of tooth decay
